Dear Parents/Carers and Year 6 Students

If you are reading this, you are accessing our Year 6 Transition Website.  Firstly, welcome to Outwood Academy Freeston!  We are very much looking forward to working with parents and carers to support children in their transition to our academy in September and cannot wait to meet and work with our new year group of young people.

We want you to be as informed as possible about transition to our academy and also for students to be excited and looking forward to the future.  This website is just for you.  We are updating it often with information, ideas, frequently asked questions, advice from our Year 7 students and other areas we thought you might want to read about.

We have also created an email address just for you: transition@freeston.outwood.com  Please use this to contact us about anything concerning you and one of our dedicated members of the transition team will get back to you as soon as possible.

We have lots to look forward to and we are very excited about working together to get the very best from the future.
