Photography
Photography by Alfie Parratt who is currently studying GCSE Photography in Year 10
Photographs are visible everywhere because we love the photographic representation of ourselves and our world and therefore there is a huge market for photographic work. Photography jobs are as vast as the medium is visible in the world. This course will make you a great creative thinker and you will be able to construct your photographic images so that they contain high visual appeal.
Students will develop critical analyses of artists’ work helping to develop their own ideas through reaction, practical application and written reflections.
Students will learn about a variety of photographic media, techniques and processes and use computers for photo editing and manipulation of digital media. Students will use sketchbooks/journals to present their drawings, storyboards, contact sheets and written annotations about their ideas and the visual recording process.
